Initial Comment:
Hello, I am using Gaim 2.0.0 beta 6, which appears to be the most current version. Gaim is telling me to upgrade to 2.0.0 final, and directing me to this site:

http://www.pidgin.im/version.php?version=2.0.0beta6&build=gaim-win32

There is nothing here. Is something going on here?

This is not a patch.

However, this once I'll take pity on your lazyness. Our changes to the
website have broken the very fragile release notification plugin.

Laziness? Your Trac site doesn't appear to allow me to post "bugs." Your
sourceforge site no longer has a link for bugs. Your Trac site docs have
not been updated AT ALL, and still point to default Trac configuration
documents.

You may have "taken pity" on me for posting here, but it's certainly not
for lack of trying!!

When did you last get this misleading message from the release
notification plugin? I fixed the problem yesterday.

Also, do you access the internet though some kind of caching proxy server?

No caching proxy, and no, I did not receive it today. Just yesterday.
